What is CSR ?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the continuous commitment of companies to act responsibly through the voluntary integration of social and environmental concerns into their business operations. CSR goes beyond mere compliance with regulations, it looks at how companies manage their economic, social and environmental impacts, as well as their relationships with their stakeholders (e.g. collaborators, business partners, government). It thus has an important part in the tenders that Group companies must respond to on a daily basis. Many actions were already in place, but it was in 2020 that SAFRA Group’s CSR policy was drafted, in order to compile all the actions taken in this regard. By incorporating a voluntary CSR approach, the SAFRA Group adopts more ethical and sustainable practices in its operating mode, in order to contribute to the improvement of society and the protection of the environment.
We obtained the Bronze Medal in 2020 following the audit conducted by Ecovadis, with a score of 53 points.
