Leader in hydrogen buses in France
Since 2011, Safra has been designing, manufacturing and marketing hydrogen-powered electric buses. Under the brand name Businova® and now Hycity®, the vehicles can be found in many French urban areas that have chosen to transform their fleet into a zero-emission vehicle.
As the first French manufacturer of hydrogen buses, Safra offers a technological solution equipped with a European fuel cell. In addition, all the buses are manufactured entirely in France.
Safra is thus offering a zero-emission vehicle to support transport authorities in their efforts to move away from fossil fuels. The Hycity incorporates shared components and standardised equipment, and has benefited from a complete overhaul of its interior and exterior design. The vehicle is currently available in 12-metre lengths and is offered in a 3-door version with a full flat floor.
