SAFRA will be present at the Hydrogen Days in Toulouse on 26 and 27 September. With the launch of its hydrogen-powered Businova this year, SAFRA has become the leading French hydrogen bus manufacturer. This participation as an exhibitor on these days will be the opportunity to explain the advantages of hydrogen in the use on the transport sector, and to visit the manufacturing workshops located in Albi, where the first hydrogen vehicles for the Artois-Gohelle agglomeration are currently manufactured.
After Grenoble in 2016 and Nantes in 2017, it is the turn of the Occitanie / Pyrénées – Méditerranée region to host the 6th edition of this national event in Toulouse on 26 and 27 September 2018. This edition will take place at the Pierre Baudis Congress Centre and will bring together many actors in the sector and local authorities with the aim of taking stock of the various projects and exchanging best practices. More than 350 participants are expected, around a program of conferences led by 40 speakers, and a space made available to the 40 exhibitors planned.
Thursday afternoon, September 27, will be dedicated to visits to various sites, including SAFRA as part of the «mobility route».
There is no doubt that the topic is of great interest since registrations on this course have been closed for 2 weeks already. 60 visitors are expected on this visit which will take place from 15:30 to 16:30 in the workshops dedicated to the manufacture of Businova. The opportunity for them to discover the operating principle of the hydrogen Businova, to see the production line, and to understand all the interest of this engine.
This visit will also be an opportunity to discover the company’s historical know-how in the renovation of public transport equipment, by visiting the 7000 m² of workshops that currently house construction sites such as the Saint-Laurent tramwayEtienne, the boggies of the Marseille metro or the Linéo buses of Toulouse.
